What does it truly mean to move on with your life?

What do you leave behind, and what do you take with you?

What is investment? How do you know if it has made returns?

What is this feeling?

Upset because of the lost of possession?

Or is it because I lost the chance of seeing the dear ones grow up and having the same passionate love for Jesus?

Does a parent feel this way when a child walks away from his intended path?

Is this a tiny bit of how Abba feels when His sons and daughters willfully turn away? With our inherited talents and riches, running after worldly pleasures, popularity, status, beauty, intelligence, love and lusts.

And at the end of the day, when the world betrays us, and the truth hits hard, will it be too late to run back into Papa's good-ol safe and loving arms?

The Ancient of Days is eternal and unchanging. The constant One that will never fail.

Help me to realise that in Your unchanging-ness, You are never irrelevant and will always satisfy the depths of the human soul, no matter how this world tries to counterfeit Your love, goodness, blessings, and riches.

God, I'm humbled.

Now Listening - air-conditioning buzz.

Found out that google provides free webhosting to all it's dear gmail account holders. And so, in an attempt to go against popular trends, I shall go on a blogger strike and pledge my allegiance to googlepages.

Now Listening - Reign Forever

Hello Blogger World.

Gave up blogging the last time round 'cos I tried like three times and the pictures refused to upload.

Found something from Ken's blog which I found THOROUGHLY amusing.
amin n kakwai went to police academy alr.wonder how they're doing in there. Just hope amin does'nt get beaten up in there.

It's Christmas day so here's a carol.

Christmas isn't Christmas 'til it happens in your heart
Somewhere deep inside you is where Christmas really starts
So give your heart to Jesus, you'll discover when you do
That Christmas' really Christmas for you.

Met Serena yesterday for dinner at Pastsmania(ahem). Wonderful to just catch up even if it may just be an hour or two.

Did you see the channel 5 news yesterday at 9.30? The pastor from Church of our Risen Christ/Saviour/Rock(couldn't remember) practically preached Jesus on television. Other than the very first line that represented some meaning of Jesus of during which the subtitles failed to change (I'm suspecting whether it's deliberate), the rest of the 3-5 mins was all about how Christmas is different to different people. So what happen was that the there was the "pastor's version" which is the Christians' Christmas and then they kinda interviewed heartlanders and what Christmas meant to them differently. The point is, this is probably one of the rare times that Jesus can be outrightly preached on the Media. Wonderful. Preach it brother!

Anywaysanywaysanyways, yesterday was a crazy night when we all opened our presents (not all lah). My parents received a WEIGHING MACHINE. Measures FAT content and Water content according to age, height, gender and whether you're normal or athlete. It was CRAZY. This year's presents all happen to be terribly discriminating, no idea why. Papa got a belt which was too small, only bearly fit the last hole. Pris got a belt which was too big, couldn't even get pass the first hole. She got a book in preparation for "Mr. Right" which can be taken as a hint to GET MARRIED SOON.

We were rolling around the bed in the masterbed room laughing all night. Lol.

Hah. Other than those, the rest were quite okay lah. Its just the TERRIBLE WEIGHING MACHINE. Everybody put on weight lah after the US trip and all. Scared until tonight we all had porridge instead of rice for dinner. Chuckle.

My goodness. How I love the SEOW FAMILY. *hugs*

Lynn cheche is moving out soon. T_T. Tragic horror of horrors. One less SEOW in the world and one more Leong. WHAT IS THE WORLD BECOMING????!!! Haha, chill adora. :P

Do you realise that blogging for me is morphing into this weird thing? I no longer blog normally like normal bloggers do. What I do is like rfgjkncxcm. Yup, that's more like what I do.

Now Listening - *blank*

I'm finally done packing all my notes. And this is the result.

I made a boat for all the staplets I removed from the paper that is going to be recycled. :))

A lot a lot of staple bullets. :))

And many many cardboard backings for SERENA. Happy right? Hah.

All the empty files.

Fasteners.

The amount of paper to recycle. The height of my size 8 foot. :))

And the neatly segregated piles of notes I'm keeping in order of height. Math, econs, hist, lit and GP.

The total height of the notes I'm keeping. Yes, it's more than the amount I'm throwing away.

I'm leaving for the United States of America tomorrow morning. :)) I've planned to write my christmas cards on the airplane just to save time.

Oh! I've signed up for my basic theory test yesterday and my test date is the 20th of Feb next year.

I still have yet to pack the rest of my room. Spent almost two days just sorting those notes. I'll have to pack after the trip.

List of things to do:
1. Source 5 web hosting sites for Zone website.
2. Design two web layouts for the zone.
3. Find a job.
4. Volunteer as tuition teacher at CCSC.
5. Finish writing christmas cards.
6. Logistics cum helps for cell retreat.
7. Design Lynn's wedding invitation.
8. Design Zone logo.

Now Listening - Did You Ever Talk To God in my head

Picture filled post.

I guess its a relief that the A's are finally over. The whole process was an ardous one.

Jay Cee life will always be a dear and cherished part of my life and memory. Here's why.

During GP lessons, Mr Chiang ERNESTLY answering questions. *cough*

Us working hard at GP *double cough*. Notice Mr Chiang's most trusted aide, the dictionary.

At Ms Sue's locker, either checking for marked scripts or booking consultations.

Zu Kai at GP consult. Just a glimpse into his crazy personality type.

And for how hard we work outside of school, at all the various haunts.

At Whitesands macs. Usually either with Michelle or Serena in the mornings.

Michelle's stuff.

At Tampines Starbucks with Serena. Serena's favourite study hang out. (According to her the ambience is good for studying. According to me the ambience is good for sleeping.)

My personal favourite: Siglap macs, where I always sit facing the window, and Rachel Yang always spotting me mugging on her way back home. You can see why I like it, look at all the GREENERY.

Me with my study buddy Ann at Olive Branch. Michelle likes the food there. And speaking of it, I still owe her a treat.

Me and my study buddy Jing Yi at Airport BK.

And sadly, I didn't take a picture of my all time favourite study place, SingPost Macs. :))

Exactly how hard did we work you ask?

Glimpses of my table.

And you ask why we rejoice.

(Serena's wall.)

And so what do we do in the life AFTER the A's?

We FACEBOOK.

And we clear the mess the Advanced level has brought to our homes and hence our lives.

If you don't actually realise how HIGH this stack of all my notes are (not including the rest of the notes I don't actually read), this is relative to my feet size, which is not that small you know(I wear a size 7half or something.).

HALLELUJAH.

Now Listening - Solution Accoustic

8 Months! :))

I know I'm almost one day late. Didn't go home at all since the paper ended yesterday. Was at chalet with my sister to watch over her cheeky monkey kids. Which kept me up the whole night, dreaming of them for half of my sleep(because of all the noise outside the room) and all their noise woke me up at 4.40am and didn't sleep well at all after that. Cheeky monkeys. What a way to spend my post exams, without good sleep.

Anyway, it's all over. Home sweet home.

My phone died yesterday 'cause I was so tired and bored, that I played Sudoku with the little battery that was remaining.

Thank You God for answering our prayers. Nothing disastrous took place through the night when both of us were sleeping.

A little boy of thirteen was on his way to school
When he heard a crowd of people laughing
And he went to take a look
Thousands were listening to the stories of one Man
He spoke with such wisdom
Even the kids could understand

The hours passed so quickly
The day turned into night
Everyone was hungry
But there was no food in sight

The boy looked in his lunch box
At the little that he had
He wasn't sure what good it'd do
There were thousands to be fed

But he saw the twinkling eyes of Jesus
The kindness in His smile
And the boy looked up with
the trust of a child
He said

Take my five loaves and two fishes
Do with it as You will
I surrender
Take my fears and my inhibitions
All my burdens, my ambitions
You can use them all
To feed them all

I often think about that boy
When I'm feeling small
And I worry that the work I do
Means nothing at all
And every single tear I cry
Is a diamond in His hand
Every door that slams in my face
I offer up in prayer

So I'll give You every breath that I have
O You can work miracles
All You need is my amen

So take my five loaves and two fishes
Do with it as You will
I surrender
Take my fears, and my inhibitions
All my burdens, my ambitions
You can use it all
I hope it's not too small

I trust in You
I trust in You

So take my five loaves and two fishes
Do with it as You will
I surrender
Take my fears and my inhibitions
All my burdens, my ambitions
You can use it all
No gift is too small

Ta-da!

In the box.

Outside the box.

The reason why. :))))
