Now Listening: You Never Let Go - Matt Redman - Beautiful News
hello, hello. The big Ps are almost over. And so I laugh at all those who are going to end it from tuesday onwards, because my LAST paper is TOMORROW, MONDAY 17th September 2007, HAH. *rubs salt onto examination wounds* (Ann: Whatever lah, ADORA.)(Although she might never know this.)
The weekends seem rather interesting lately.
Number 1.
September is always THE month where all we September babies rejoice. Let me name some: Lijuan (2nd), Terry (4th), Priscilla (10th), Lynn (11th), Vivien (12th), Cameron (16th), Xiwen (23rd), AHEM (29th), plus all those unspecific ones like Janice Chiang, Isaiah, Elizabeth Koh, Rex etc. That makes like 12 I know off-hand.
And so, this has been the highlight of Sept (or will be). From humble Ol throw-around-and-won't-spoil 6020 (which is so old that it is unable to produce any sound when ringing or alarm-ing). To any one of the other three, haven't decided. It's in order of preference. Vote?

Nokia 6020.

Sony Ericsson S500i. Extremely pretty. Extremely.

Nokia 6120. Of which IVAN and LYNN says is UGLY. hmpff.

Nokia 6300. Cheap and practical. Very me.
Yay. I love birthdays. (My sister got a KRUMPLER from Ivan. :S)
I got Corrinne May's CD, Beautiful Seed, these 'L' and 'P' keychains (which prisilala insists that it stands for the L and P plate for driving newbies or learners.), and chocs from The Cocoa Tree for Lynn and Prisilala. :) Obviously, we LOVE getting CDs because we ALL benefit. So much so Lynn got Pris Matt Redman's Beautiful News (Of which I am already benefitting from, cos i'm listening to it now). If you realise, these CDs are all rather old in the market, that's 'cause we all seem to be waiting for someone else to get us the CD. And that obviously has to be during birthdays.
I got myself a present too. :P An 'A' keychain, like what I got for my sisters, except not red but yellow. And 12 little ladybug magnets from popular. They're all sticking all around my monitor and notice board. So cute lah. :)
But sometimes, I feel kinda guilty, as every year, I'll get some expensive(subjective) electronic gadget from my family. Usually the most expensive amongst the three of us. Well, maybe it just happened in time that I need a new hp or an mp3 player. Er let's see, the past three years have been very costly birthdays for my family. 2005 was the Peavy Guitar ($600+), so means now its 2 years old, and I'm still loving it, although people keep asking me to change it. I remember feeling so bad after that that I told myself I was gonna save up to cover some cost, but wasn't motivated enough, oops. 2006 was my iRiver 6gb ($300+), which my family plus Ivan got. 2007, you know.
Okay, no more luxury spending next year, I'll just be very gracious and ask for some cash and splurge or save it.
Number 2.
Tomorrow's math paper in the afternoon, and it's time to study, cos I haven't done anything much for stats since one week ago, before the prelims started. All my motivation for prelims are gone. I'm looking forward more to when I start again for As, which is unfortunately starting this wednesday.
Mum booked expensive US tour. Feel even more guilty. We should have booked less expensive Japan, but Auntie Carol objected. Oh well. That's something else to look forward other than the wonderfully-luxuriously-conspicuously long 8 month break. EAT THAT, non-A-levelers.
Honestly, I've not been blogging for almost 2 years already, and I don't actually intend to revive this awfully addictive habit, but it is ESPECIALLY during EXAMINATIONS that you itch to do everything besides STUDYING. And I really mean everything. Like even pack your wardrobe, room and table. Somehow, our parents should be more happy during exams when we start to pack, instead of screaming at us to study. See, this is probably one of the few times we help out at housework, and probably the only time when housework seems appealing (in comparison to studying).
What was I saying? Oh yes, I'm not a blogger, so don't be expecting regular or even irregular posts. In short, don't expect anything. In fact, you'll probably be finding the design changing more regularly than the posts.
I blog because I'm bored.
And thus I will end my post.
